Recently approved GS1 standards for use within the GDS Network

 The following GSMP change requests have been approved. Unless otherwise noted, deployment of these changes will be made at a later date, based upon the GDSN Inc. release schedule.

• CR 08-099 Enables the ability to send multiple iterations of the permit identifier attributes contained in the Regulatory Compliance item data extension (submitted by SA2 Worldsync)

•  CR 08-098 Expands the attribute length of the two Catalog Item Confirmation (CIC) message attributes "confirmationstatusDescription" and "expectedCorrectionInformation" to support up to 1,000 characters (data type long description) (submitted by SA2 Worldsync)
• CR 07-223 Round 4 (final round)   Provides a Permanent Trade Item Core Solution for Fast Track & New Item Form attributes. all Fast Track and NIF attributes were interim solutions. (this change requesat was orifinally submitted by GXS, however the approved recommendations were submitted bythe GDSN Modular Item Workgroup, chaired by SA2 Worldsync)

• CR 08-025 The purpose is to have one way to send information on multiple trade items within one hierarchical structure (i.e a pallet and all its child items) by Updating the Catalog Item Sync BMS. (submitted by GS1 Sweden and Ahold NL). Tis does not result in a change to how either the former Agentrics or Sinfos applications process.
