   Public Review: GDSN Trade Item Implementation Guide, Populating TI/HI: The Trade Item Implementation Guide Work Group is presenting an updated topic to be included in the GDSN Trade Item Implementation Guide: Populating TI/HI.  The original Trade Item Implementation Guide was delivered in January of 2007. The guide's objective is to supplement the formal GS1 GDSN standards with advice on their implementation and operation. It is in no way normative or definitive and is not a standard. It includes implementation guides for a variety of the more complicated issues. It seeks to increase consistency and ease of implementation by explaining the standards and providing real-world examples.  This public review is only for the updated Populating TI/HI topic. Once approved it will be replace the existing Populating TI/HI section of the Trade Item Implementation Guide, which is located on the GS1 website at: http://www.gs1.org/services/gsmp/kc/gdsn/index.html This document is posted for a public review on a motion of the Trade Item Implementation Guide Work Group until 20-Feb-2009.

 Public Review:  eCom BRG, WO 08-000103:The Dutch Healthcare industry requires the addition of the following code values for the orderResponseReasonCode list on line level:- Article out of assortment (Article normally part of a standard assortment is unavailable.)- Blocked article (Article has been blocked by supplier, e.g. for the reason of quality problems)- Not permitted by Law (Article may not be delivered to certain buyers because this is not permitted by law, e.g. because the buyer is not licensed for buying opiates)

- Allocated article (Number of ordered articles exceeds the maximum amount, set by supplier for a certain buyer).

  Public Review: Bar Codes & ID BRG, WO 08-000187 PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: Starts on Thursday 22-Jan-2009 and ends on Friday 20-Feb-2009.BACKGROUND: The Bar Codes & ID BRG motioned to progress this GSCN to public review on 20-Jan-2009. The request was to update Section 8, Glossary, to the General Specification to provide consistency among the General Specifications and other GS1 system standards. The updates are contained in the attachment to the GSCN for 08-187.

  Public Review: GDSN BRG, WO 08-000281 The Public review for WO 08-281 begins 22-Jan-2009 and ends 25-Feb-2009 extended due to Dallas GDSN User Group Meeting. Proposal: CR 08-288 Proposal Add weight Density to the PhysiochemicalCharacteristicCodeList  in the Food And Beverage Extension, Weight density:  Weight Density Equals the volume of 1 LB of Water divided by the Volume of 1 LB of the product.
