CR 08-226 Round 2 (This is another group of attributes in a change request submitted by SA2. This CR is for attributes in the new FnF version 5.0 release and will formalize previously proprietary Sinfos attributes in opreparation for the eventual migration of Sinfos customers onto the new SA2 GDSN platform)
The eballot for CR 08-226 Round 2 begins Mar-18-2009 and ends April-8-2009 extended due to GSMP LA Event. Proposal: Add the attached list of Dangerous Substances attributes to the GDSN core item data model, or appropriate GDSN item data extension. Contained in this change request are attributes for dangerous substances requirements. The interim deployment of these attributes using the Fast Track AVP data extension is also requested. CRs 08-230 08-245 08-249 eBallot Validations Round 1
The GDSN Business Requirements Group invites you to cast your eballot on validation rules. This 21 day eballot begins March 18th 2009 and ends April 8th 2009 (eballot extended due to GSMP LA CA USA event). Background: The proposed Validation Rules were submitted as 3 CRs by different submitters and are being reviewed together. The sub-team has been consolidating similar proposed rules, matching against redundant existing rules, reworking the proposed rules texts and validating global vs. local contexts. This set of Validation Rules is the first in a series to be sent to the GDSN BRG for public review under the 3 CRs and ultimately eballot. Eventually all Validation Rules submitted in the 3 CRs will be processed. The posted Validation Rules have been motioned to progress to eballot with no public review comments received during the 30 day public review. Please note that upon eballot these GDSN Validation Rules will be added to the Standard GDSN Validation Rules in the Global D ata Dictionary. CR 08-288: Add Weight Density to Food & Beverage Ext
The eBallot for CR 08-288 begins Mar-4-2009 and ends Mar-18-2009. Proposal: CR 08-288 Proposal Add weight Density to the PhysiochemicalCharacteristicCodeList in the Food And Beverage Extension, Weight density: Weight Density Equals the volume of 1 LB of Water divided by the Volume of 1 LB of the product. This Ratio allows conversion of a unit of volume or a unit of volume into a unit of weight. Proposal: Need the ability to specify the name of the Company(s) who has registered a Product or its Representative
Definition: The name of the company having legal responsibility for the product in the target market. For pharmaceuticals, name of the company to which market authorization has been issued. The subject company is responsible for licensing and regulations within the target market. Within Australia this specifies who is the owner of the product, the company marketing a product or its representative could be the importer, a sales agent or broker and may not be the manufacturer.
GS1 modeler's Assessment: I suspect on the 09-021 that there may be a request for GLN as well as name. This would be consistent with all other Parties we have in the trade item. 09-022 Need ability specify version of classification system of an additional classification agency CR 09-022 eballot will begin Mar-18-2009 and end April-8-2009 (extended due to LA CA USA GSMP event). Proposal: Need the ability to specify the version of the classification system of an additional classification agency if using an additional classification within GDSN. This will allow for the passing of classification system version information to enable effective communications between trading partners.
