CRs 08-230 08-245 08-249 (Round 2) - Price GDSN Validation Rules eBallot

GDSN BRG The GDSN Business Requirements Group invites you to review the draft price validation rules posted here for public review. This eballot starts on 29 April 2009 and closes on 14 May 2009, extended due to a European holiday. Background: The proposed Validation Rules were submitted as 3 CRs by different submitters and are being reviewed together. The sub-team has been consolidating similar proposed rules, matching against redundant existing rules, reworking the proposed rules texts and validating global vs. local contexts. This set of Price Validation Rules is the second in a series to be sent to the GDSN BRG eballot. Eventually all Validation Rules submitted in the 3 CRs will be processed.

Please note that upon eballot these GDSN Price Validation Rules will be added to the Standard GDSN Validation Rules in the Global Data Dictionary.  This eballot contains a link to the original Change Requests 08-230 08-245 08-249 & The Price Validation Rules spreadsheet.  CR 09-059 - Add attached list of code values to the Unit Of Measure code list

Note: This CR was submitted by SA2 to provide unit of measure values needed for new attributes added to the network during the Maintenance Release deployed  28 March.

The eBallot for CR 09-059 begins April-29-2009 and ends May-14-2009 extended due to European holiday.  Proposal: CR 09-059 Proposal: Add the attached list of code values to the UOM code list. Expected Benefit: Provides values missing for certain dimensions and time duration attributes. In addition, provides values for a number of electrical energy attributes recently added for which no UOM values exist in the current UM code list. Risks: Lack of these code values can lead to inaccurate or inconsistent population of appropriate code values by trading partners throughout the network. Business Purpose: Provides data recipients with correct and consistent code values for the affected attributes for use within their legacy applications. This eballot contains a Link to CR 09-059 in the CR system, the attachment with the UOM  and the Business Requirement (See tab CR 09-059).
