CR 08-230 08-245 08-249 Round 2 Price GDSN Validation Rules

These Validation Rules were submitted as 3 Change Requests by different submitters and are being reviewed together. The sub-team has been consolidating similar proposed rules, matching against redundant existing rules, reworking the proposed rules texts and validating global vs. local contexts. This set of Price Validation Rules is the second in a series to be sent to the GDSN BRG eballot. Eventually all Validation Rules submitted in the 3 CRs will be processed. These GDSN Price Validation Rules will be added to the Standard GDSN Validation Rules in the Global Data Dictionary.  Implementation will be in a future release.

CR 09-059 - Add attached list of code values to the UOM code list

Adds code values to the Unit of Measure code list. Expected Benefit: Provides values missing for certain dimensions and time duration attributes. In addition, provides values for a number of electrical energy attributes recently added for which no UOM values exist in the current UM code list. Risks: Lack of these code values can lead to inaccurate or inconsistent population of appropriate code values by trading partners throughout the network. Business Purpose: Provides data recipients with correct and consistent code values for the affected attributes for use within their legacy applications. These values will be added to the code list in version 2.4, or possibly an earleir release associated with enhanced code list values.
