Public Review, GDSN BRG: WO 07-434 Hierarchical Withdrawal
The 35 day Public review for CR 07-434 begins 21-May-2009 and ends 26-June-2009 lengthened due to U-connect conference in the USA. CR 07-434 Proposal: GDSN BRG has launched this WO 07-434 Hierarchical Withdrawal BRAD Public Review even though this BRAD originated from a GDSN 2008-2009 Roadmap Approved Project Work Group because this BRAD will effect most GDSN member companies. The method in which a publication withdraw is communicated to a data recipient within the network is overly complicated due to the current requirements of item data being present when sending the GDSN CIN DELETE message for a simple change to the hierarchy. Schema validations and other validations require a substantial amount of data to be sent for a simple change in hierarchy. As result of this complexity, delays can occur in withdrawing an item within the GDSN. This will allow changes to be made more quickly. The purpose of this BRAD is to outline the requirements necessary for more efficient withdrawing of a trade item within the GDSN. This 35 Day Public Review contains a link to Change Request 07-434, The Hierarchical Withdrawal BRAD and the Business Requirement (See tab CR 07-434). Please use the croom comment feature to make any comments in the spreadsheet. Please review and make any comments by 4 PM ET 26-June-2009 (Close of Public Review). Project LOI 3
