For GSMP/GDSN Business Requirements Group (BRG) members who are eligible to vote, the following eBallots have been posted in the GS1 Community Room:
 
 
CR 09-140 - Add expression of party info @ ingredient level of F&B Ext
 
The eBallot for CR 09-140 begins September-16-2009 and ends September-30-2009. CR 09-140 CR 09-140 Proposal: Add the ability to express optional repeatable party information such as Party Role, GLN, and Party Name at the ingredient and sub ingredient level of the Food and Beverage extension.  This will also need to include a code list update for the party role attributes of the following: GROWER- A party which is responsible for the growth or production of the unit, specifically refers to vegetation.  This organization may or may not be a producer or packer.  As a part of the comment resolution we decided to use a two phased approach:      

PHASE 1: For phase 1 we will use the EANCOM definitions where they exist as shown below, the exceptions being:
A.  Grower which we will ask to have added to EANCOM through the EDIFACT CR process by Jean-Luc Champion if this eBallot is approved.
B. Cutter already exists but under a different name in EANCOM  Meat Cutter .
