CR 08-285 Public Review, GDSN BRG

The Public Review for CR 08-285 is second additional 14 day Public Review motioned by the GDSN BRG on 22-Sep-2009 because there is now an updated requirement that came out of the initial Public Review and also feedback to CR submitter by the Canadian GDSN Community. The second Public review for CR 08-285 begins 24-Sep-2009 and ends 8-Oct-2009. CR 08-285 Proposal: “Enable the ability to identify a trade item as an application unit as detailed in a new CR attachment which has also been added the Public Review folder for CR 08-285. The attachment explains the business usage and multiple scenarios of the usage.”

WO 09-285 GDSN BRG Change Management: We also considered change management  and  TIIG ocumentation details and It was determined that this CR will not make the current 2.4  GDSN Maintenance Release. This will allow for the proper time necessary for TIIG work as well as change management in general with a lot of back office work for retailers and suppliers among others that take advantage of this change.

This Public review contains a Link to CR 08-285 in the CR system, a summary requirement document associated with CR 08-285 and the Business Requirement (See tab CR 08-285). CR 09-103 Round 6 Validations Rules 500-503 Public Review, GDSN BRG

The 30 day Public review for CR 09-103 Round 6 begins Sep-24-2009 and ends Oct-24-2009. CR 09-103 Round 5 Validations rules 500-503. These are recommendations that  today are codified in the GDSN Operations Manual and they are now being made official GDSN validation rules. General Note: CR 09-103 consolidates under a single work-order change requests numbers 08-230, 08-245 and 08-249 submitted by GS1 Australia, GS1 Netherlands and GS1 Sweden.
