GDSN Maintenance Release 5 v2.8 WG

The Call-To-Action is for the Step 2 Maintenance Release BRAD Consolidation and Harmonization effort in GDSN.   The scope of the group is to combine already approved GDSN Simple Level of Impact 1 & 2 Backward Compatible Business requirements into a consolidated  BRAD & then create updated Business Message Solution (BMS) for all effected GDSN BMS messages. Also in scope are any BRADs that create New Extensions like the Furniture BRAD and the Chemical Ingredients BRAD. Also requirements for the Books BRAD and Irregular TI HI may be finished on time to be included. As always any Validation Rules that match up with scope above will also be included.

GDSN Trade Item Implementation Guide (Issue 13) Release

The GDSN Trade Item Implementation Guide Work Group has released issue 13 of the GDSN Trade Item Implementation Guide - the definitive source on how to implement GDSN data. This new issue supports implementation guidelines on Minimum and Maximum Values. It also supports the update of the previous Net Weight guideline to include information on Gross Weight. Please refer to the "Log of Changes" on page 6 of the document for more detailed information. GS1 Community Recognition Award - Nominate Someone!

09-142 Public Review, GDSN MR 4 v2.7 Price Sync Maintenance Guideline

The Public review for CR 09-142 MR 4 v2.7 Price Sync Implementation Guideline will launch on August-12-2010 and end on Sep-13-20201. Price Sync change request submitters drafted the updates to the Guideline to reflect the changes in the latest GDSN Maintenance Release.  Please review the draft Guideline then make your comments in the Price Sync Maintenance Guideline document by 3:30 PM ET on Sep-13-2010 (Close of Public Review). As background, the latest approved Price Sync BMS is also available in the CR09-192 review folder.  Zip files have been added for download purposes for your convenience.
