10-120 Data Accuracy BRG Public Review

The Public Review for CR 10-120 Data Accuracy BRG Work Order if approved will become a part of the next issue of the standard "GDSN Package Measurement Rules i1.11 draft". Submitter Nadine Radomski of Dean Foods - Proposal: Frozen Package Case Level Dimensional & Weight  Tolerances :

A.  All dimensions (Height, Width and Depth) for Frozen Products at the Case level will have a 5% tolerance for Frozen products in Hard packaging at the case level:

Examples:
• A Case of Flexible Frozen product in a hard Case Packaging would use 5%
• A Case of Hard Frozen product at the Each Level in a Hard Case Level Package would use 5%.
• A case of Flexible Frozen products where the "case" is composed of 4 Shrink Wrapped Ice Cream cartons in flexible packaging you would use our various Tolerance for Case Level Flexible Packages based on the size of that Case as shown in Table 6-2 in the GDSN Package Measurement Rules.

B. The Case Weight Tolerance for frozen packages is 6%.
