The eBallot for CR 10-187 begins Sep-22-2010 and ends Oct-13-2010 extended due to Amsterdam GSMP Event. Updated Proposal Aug-2-2010: Allow the product to be identified as being a flammable aerosol by adding the following attribute:
1). Add the attribute "flammableAerosolContainmentCode". Definition: Determines whether the propellant in the trade item is an aerosol and whether the aerosol is considered flammable. The following code list is proposed:
• FLAMMABLE_AEROSOL - Item is an aerosol which contains flammable gas
• NONFLAMMABLE_AEROSOL - Item is an aerosol but does not contain flammable gas
• NOT_APPLICABLE - Item is not an aerosol This is optional and not repeatable.
2). Add the attribute "flammableGasWeight" as a measurement value. Definition: This is the weight of the flammable gas in the trade item. This is optional and not repeatable. Note: Per submitter this is expressed in the UK in grammes. This attribute is required if the item is an aerosol which contains flammable gas (FLAMMABLE_AEROSOL).
These attributes are requested as Attribute Value Pairs as well. This eBallot contains a link to CR 10-187 in the CR system and the Business Requirement Spreadsheet. Please cast your eBallot by 3:30 PM ET on 13-Oct-2010 Close of eBallot. Simple Level of Impact 2. To vote on this ballot, go here:

10-241 eBallot Review, GDSN BRG
The eBallot for CR 10-241 begins Sep-22-2010 and ends Oct-13-2010 extended due to Amsterdam GSMP Event. CR 10-241 Proposal: Enable the ability to communicate the following information in the "foodAndBeverageMicrobiologicalInformation" class of attributes:
A. Organism Reference Value - Reference values give an indication of which product specific ranges of micro organisms are to be expected and which micro organism contents in the appropriate food products are acceptable due to hygiene rules. Per definition this value reflects A microbiological limit which, in a 2–class plan, separates good quality from defective quality or, in a 3–class plan, separates good quality from marginally acceptable quality. With regard to the audit of the production processes exceeding the microbiological reference limit means, it indicates there are leak points in the production process and the hygienic situation needs to be increased.
B. Organism Warning Value- Exceeding the limits of the allowed content of micro organisms defined as warning values indicating there is a poor quality of the hygiene standard in the food production. This would probably lead to health hazards. A microbiological limit which, in a 3–class plan, separates marginally acceptable quality from defective quality.
Both attributes are "optional" and not repeatable. Both attributes require a measurement data type. Typically they are expressed in NIU’s (Number of International Units). The UOM code list category for NIU is "count". This eBallot contains a Link to CR 10-241 in the CR System, an Attribute Value Pair spreadsheet and the Business Requirements Queue for CR 10-241.
