GSMP SMG Calls-to-Action Now Available - Opt-In Now!

GSMP is pleased to announce a huge turning point in the implementation of our fully consolidated standards process for ALL standards in the GS1 System - the launching of 7 new SMG Calls-to-Action.  The SMGs will form the backbone of the standards process, being the standing committees which provide continuity of expertise to their subject matter area and play a critical role not only in the maintenance of the standard, but in guidance to related Mission Specific Work Groups.  
 
These committees are chartered to maintain existing standards and will eventually replace today's Business Requirements Groups (BRGs) as detailed in the Work Transition Process. When membership in the SMG has reached minimum participation as stated in each Call-to-Action the SMG will launch.
