Public Review: GPC Nov-2010 Publication
The following public review is for schema updates related to the GPC Nov-2010 Publication. It begins on 14-Oct and ends on 11-Nov. It is posted for 30-day public review on a motion of the GPC BRG. The following WRs are supported:
• CR 10-232: Add missing and new GPC codes into the existing FBT GPC schema for fresh food. Also add missing and edit existing definitions of bricks and attribute definitions to the existing fresh food GPC schema.
• CR 10-230: Enhance the functionalities of GPC within the fresh food FBT segment and provide the appropriate GPC structure for fruit and Vegetables.
• CR 10-121: Addition of new bricks and brick attributes to fresh eggs and egg products
• CR 10-109: Addition of a new brick attribute and attribute value code list to support types of bottle closures for wine bottles. Addition of 3 new attribute values to the existing attribute type 20000031 "Type of Cheese or Cheese Substitute" for the Brick 10000030 Cheese/Cheese Substitutes (Frozen)
• CR 10-167: Correction of two existing brick attributes in the Beverages family which appear to represent the same information: Attribute 20000742 - LEVEL OF SWEETNESS and Attribute 20000177 - SWEETNESS OF SPARKLING WINE
Note: these updates will not be deployed into the GDS Network until Spring 2011
