Public Review: GDSN BRG, CR 08-000246The public review for CR 08-246 begins on Oct-23-2008 and ends Nov-23-2008. Proposal: Change the field type for the attribute unitedNationsDangerousGoodsNumber.  This number is a a four digit number that can start at 0001 and go to 3500 for the UN versions and from 8000 to 9999 for the North American versions.  The current field type is a integer, thereby the leading zeroes are dropped from the number. The field type needs to be changed to a string limited to numeric entry of minimum 4 digits and a maximum of 4 digits. Public Review: GDSN eCom, CR 08-000234Retailers of the furniture sector want to be informed by suppliers before receiving a DESADV about the package units of an ordered product. They are not only interested in number of units, but also in measurement information (weight, volume, size) about the packages. They need this information for planning reasons e.g. for cross docking concepts. In furniture sector the information often cannot be delivered with the product catalogue information, because the ordered product variants will be produced individually (CSA).
